Title: GOING TO YUMA, AZ
Post by: PattyInAK on January 11, 2009, 02:15:24 PM
Will be leaving for Yuma this Wednesday, going down to see my folks.  My mom just had back surgery.  I was supposed to go down last March but couldn't because of my neck thing.  United Airlines gave me a flight credit last March when I cancelled, but I couldn't use it because they no longer fly out of Anchorage.  I went the medical route and proved how I couldn't fly last March, and they gave me a full refund.   :hello2:  So now I can go on my trip, and its at a good time since my mom and dad could use my help.  I will also spend January 24-28 with my sister in Scottsdale.  Woo-hooo!!!  I haven't been out of Alaska since 2005.

What a perfect time to escape the cold and enjoy temperatures above freezing. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time and your mom will love having you there. Have a great trip!

:thumb: Don't forget to take your shot records and your health certificate and you are microchipped, right?

Um, Beau, Patty is a hooman; she doesn't need her shots and she's not microchipped. :book1:

State to state - no papers?

Now stop quoting "The Hunt for Red Ocober" you silly dog!!

O.K. but still - doesn't she need a visa to enter the lower 48? :2funny:

Um......San Luis Obispo isn't THAT far from Yuma, y'know.  So is Dan staying home with the boys?  They are gonna be soooo spoiled.  Have a great GREAT time!  So glad you're feeling better so that you can make this trip.

Would love to take some side trips to see some of you guys.  My dad needs the help with my mom.  I will take over some of the visiting and will help with cooking meals and whatever else I can do between sitting out in the sun and getting a terrific tan.
