I'm not a Martian anymore! That's what Papa called me (he and Mommy were watching some old TV show called My Favorite Martian and so Papa thought I was a Bonnie, his favorite Martian. Anyway, the stoopid lampshade has been put away. I'd like to see it thrown away, but that's another story. I'm so happy because I can see all around me now. And you know what? I haven't bounced the old lady Roo once since I was set free. I think sissy likes it that I'm not a Martian, too.

Thank GOODNESS! She still has a bit of the owie but it's drying up quickly now. I've seen a marked difference in bounces and GROWLS and GRUMPS since she as been freed of the cone. Good news, indeed! And now if I could just get Bonnie to come out from under the covers of the big bed when she starts to overheat. Silly dawg has no sense. She loves it under there so much that she just pants and pants until I pull her out into the fresh air. Do any other puppers overheat themselves with lots of covers?

Don't know why some furkids do that....???? Maybe somebody else out there knows :dontknow:
Glad to hear she is rid of the lamp shade, Patches sleeps under the covers but comes out when she gets hot & goes back under when she gets cold.

YAAAAY, progress!!! Willy comes out from under the covers when he gets too warm. Alex doesn't seem to get "too" warm.
