How, exactly does the treat box work?  I've heard about it here but don't know much!

This is the second Treat Chain Letter that is going around.  The first one took about a year to do and had 20 people on it.   This second one was started in June of 2003 !!!!!   It has 46 names on it and we have 9 left to go !!!!  I collected names of puppers who wanted to participate and I started it by sending a box of treats (for puppers and for their humans if you choose) along with a letter indicating who the box would go to next.   Each person announces they recieve one, but don't tell who it is going to next - just when it is put in the mail.

It is a lot of fun - but this one had so many names, it is taking a long time !!!!  I have an idea for a different way to do it, when we finish up this one - so that just as many people can participate - but it will move around faster.  Hopefully we will finish this one up by the end of the year and then I will post about a new Treat Chain Letter #3 !!!!!

Thanks so thinking of a new idea Barb  :apls: - I was wondering what we were going to do about that with so many puppers now!

Wow !  A whole BOX of stuff?  I told mama to sign me right up when it's time cuz I deserve it!  I gots TWO brothers that gang up on me!  TWO!  Oscy tries to chew my neck and that new one Toby...he was quiet for awhile but NOT anymore.  Now he gangs up on me with Oscy and he tries to chew my back FEETS!
I danno what that mama was thinkin when she gots us another brother.  I think we need to get another SISTER around here.  That's what I think. 
Anyways I like the treat box idea.  Maybe if I see it first I can HIDE the treats on those brothers!  Thats what they get for chewing on me!

Barb-
I wonder if we can have a few treat boxes going around at once.  Maybe divide the list by 4 so you have 4 separate lists and there would be 4 treat boxes going around.  Do you think that would work or would it be too confusing?

Great minds think alike ----that is exactly what I thought of when I mentioned a new way.

We can take sign ups, then split the list with about 6 on each list and then ask for volunteers to start each chain.  I will put the letters together and then can send to the starters.   With a handful in each chain.....we can finish up fairly quickly...and if people want to play again......put the names in a pot - mix them up and go again !!!
