All three of my longhairs are coming in with snowballs attached.  We're sitting down and taking off the worst of them with my fingernails.   I just went out and shoveled several paths and cleared a few potty areas for them in hopes of reducing some of it.

Miss Hallie sure looks like she's enjoying it though!

I gave up shoveling paths I just carry her out to the potty house now and then back in. This was the first day of snow in these pics (back when it was still fun!  ) She'd disappear out there now! Kathleen I imagine you have as much as us your pups would disappear too if you weren't a good Mom with a snow shovel!

We have a routine for the snowballs, I have a blanket in the dryer when we are out so as soon as we come in I wrap her in the warm blanket and the snowballs melt fast. After a few seconds they loosen up and are easier to pull off.

Yes she does feel great these days I am super grateful for every second of it. She had just poohed before this run so that always makes her do a happy dance anyway lol. She says Eddie has the right idea now. This would be a good pic for a treat box though wouldn't it. Too bad I can't cook (safely...) we could start a side business.   :headbang:

You aren't kidding about them disappearing.  Millie is still pretty tiny, and Murphy with his extra short legs sinks like a stone.  They're annoyed by that crust that hardened that they keep dropping through, too.

I thinkI'll try your idea and stick a couple of towels in the dryer while we're outside.  It's a whole production just to go out now.  The dogs have gotten more patient.  I finally remembered that I have wellies in the closet, so I'm not going out in my three inch heeled leather boots anymore.  Then coat, hat, gloves, scarf, and finally, Murphy's coat.  Now I just need to put the towels in the dryer too.

I'm completely out of puppy food for Millie now, I used the last for her dinner tonight.  So, I'm going to have to brave a trip to the store tomorrow for food and piddle pads .  That should be interesting!

Those are great pictures.  Hallie does seem to be enjoying her romp in the snow.  I bet she really appreciates that warm towel once inside.
