Awww. What a great picture. I agree with you, he has adorable little feet!!
You are right. It is a wonderful picture. I'm sure it makes you want to hop on a plane and fly north! I'm going to guess that you will be seeing him at Christmas, right?
Terri, what a beautiful and touching picture of Ben and Retta! Just makes your heart melt! And, he does have adorable footsies!

Your right about wanting to hop on a plane heading North Teresa! Retta and Stephen are great about sending lots of pictures (of course I threatened to disinherit them otherwise :)
Unfortunately I will not be going up for Christmas. Julie and Alex (my other two children) will be coming to Florida and I will be going up to see Ben in mid January. Retta and Stephen don't want to fly with the baby and I completely agree that he is still to young for that sort of trip. It's going to be difficult to not be all together at Christmas but I think it's lovely that they will have a nice quiet Christmas in there own home with Ben.
What adorable footties. They look serene, Ben is adorable, and all in time for Xmas.

all I can say is...
AWWWWWW!!!!
Terri, If you don't have one already, you need a webcam. It would also make a great gift for Retta for Christmas (of course it's a little late to send it!). It is a great way to see Ben in action and to hear the noises he makes. My coworker has one that she used while her son was in Iraq and found that it was also great to watch her grandson on, since he lived across the state. Enjoy your Christmas at home. I'm sure you'll be getting tons of pictures of Ben's first Christmas, and it won't be long before he'll be on a plane heading south. His parents are going to be eager for him to meet your four-legged family and for him to get some warm-weather sunshine!!
