These darn stomach problems have put me so behind on Christmas commissions, I will be working until midnight Christmas eve on them I think! Here is the latest I just finished, I had not been able to post it because it was to be a Christmas gift for the customers wife and I didn't want to risk her seeing it on the web but he emailed me this morning and said he couldn't wait so he gave it to her last night. LOL. Now I'm working on a horse then a longhaired doxie then I can finally get to the boys!! That Dee has been soooo patient in waiting for....
There is a glare on this I couldn't get rid of, it has richer colors IRL.
Absolutely awesome, DeeDee! You just want to reach in and pet the pupper! Patience is one on my virtues.......you take care of yourself and do what you need to do....I can wait patiently cuz I know how busy you are! One of your paintings, especially when it will be my boys, is WELL WORTH the wait! Dee

Thanks, it seems forever I work on these then suddenly they are gone! (sounds sort of like raising a kid LOL). I am really looking forward to starting the boys Dee. I've been looking forward to that for too long but really I got just the horse and the other doxie for Christmas then the boys!
LOL Roberta, you know I would need to have Oliver and Amy come and stay here for a few weeks while I painted them...I would try to pull that on Dee and Dave but I know how far that would get me. :grin: Patty I may need to "borrow" Neeki for a few weeks too! :wink:
Yes she's a "she'...her name is Gracie, she's a young girl and nice to have the natural ears. My boy Fred had cropped ears which are handsome but was sure hard on him as a pup, I was young, my first dog on my own and I had no idea how extensive the surgery is. I do love Danes! Fred was a kick great sense of humor and such a good boy...I loved him to pieces but boy, the health problems he had and the short life span, (he made it to 6 was a miracle) they are truly a heartbreak breed.
Gracies mum will be over the moon with the painting, what a fantsic surprise and from a husband.................
