It's been a bit of a crazy month around our house. Bella is doing GREAT and finding her place in the mix. She is still very very timid but she is starting to venture out into the yard a ways on her own. She likes to follow Buelah around and she is also starting to get a bit bossy with Oscy! She loves her own little bed and wants to snuggle pretty much all the time. She seems to be hungry ALL the time, but she is a dachsie so that is to be expected. I actually think she looks like she may have lost a tiny bit of weight or she is firming up some. Baby Bea is doing her best to get her to play and I have caught them playing chase a few times. I suspect this is going to happen more often as she adjusts. She never got out to play in her old life, just out to do her business and back in. It has really been a joy to watch her blossom. My camera is not working right now but I'm picking up another tonight so I'll post some pictures soon. I've also had to deal with quite a bit of business travel for the last few weeks, so if I missed any important posts or Star Days, I apologize. I hope to get caught up when I am up North.
Retta,( my daughter ) will be admitted to the hospital tomorrow night and her doctor will induce labor on Friday. I'll be heading to New York tomorrow afternoon. Naturally, I'll be posting pics of both the two legged and the four legged babies!

I love it when the dogs get to playing together. They seem so happy and thats a good thing.

I always think it is interesting how the doctors often end up inducing labor after having the mom's on Breathine. Sometimes it works a little too well!

Congratulations "GRANDMA TERRI&GRANDPA KEITH! 2 years ago I was asked to foster a female for Dachshund Rescue of North America and after a week she was here we adopted her and everytime someone opens the refridgerator she thinks she's gonna get something to eat.Give Bella time she'll come around.
That's great that Bella is progressing and PLAYING! I hope someday that my Madderoo might break out in play. Bonnie is ALL PLAY! She's a spaz!
