Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share: When I first got Mimi Girl, she was a rescue, she really had seperation anxiety. I had to hold her all the time or she would make herself sick from whining and crying. She really took to me right away. She finally realized she was here to stay in a nice safe home and settled right in. She became my girl very fast. She went every where I did. Love to hang out with my parents lab too. We used to hook them up together so they would be together and not wonder off. Now I wish I had pictures of that. She also became Scott's yard dog. Followed him around and didn't wonder off. Loved to sit in the garden while we worked. We both miss her very much. It took some time to get both Tuttle and Carson to get to the point where they were not looking for her all the time. But they still do during certain times like when Scott builds a fire. She used to love to snuggle up next to Tuttle right up front.
Mimi was GORGEOUS! I know you must miss her terribly. Thank you for posting her profile. I know she would have had an awesome STAR DOG of the day.
your Mimi was beautiful. I am glad you still posted for her. My girls say... a special wish upon a star for Mimi!!!! Special rays for you!!!!
Happy ~Angel Star~ of the Day, Mimi!!! Mimi was a very beautiful girl, Mel. I am really glad you posted about her, I loved reading it, and I'm sure it was still somewhat difficult for you... Thanks for sharing Mimi with us!! Special belly rubs & smoochies to you Mimi!! :angel4:
She was very beauiful, and I know you miss her terribly. Its been almost 2 years since we lost our Misty Girl at the age of 7, and the pain is still there. They are so special and leave a big hole when they leave, even though they are "little" dogs. Bless you for rescuing Mimi and giving her a loving and secure home.
Mimi really is a STAR, as that is where I think they go, she is right next to Angus, Emma (who I truely hope she avoid's AKA ms bossy boots) and Ingrid. As Patty says they are so little , but fill such a BIG space...............it is said no one dies till they are forgotten.........makes sense as they live in your heart.............so carry her with you where ever you go. In time, she will find you her replacement, so honouring her memory.
Twinkle brightly little one

Your Mimi "Star-Angel" has such pretty pictures - thank you for rescuing her. I am sorry you did not have longer with her, but thank you for doing what you did to turn her life around. I had a retired-from-breeder girl who was nearly 6 when I got her, and due to her dislike of men, I had to give her up before marriage, and then she went to Robyn in Idaho, where she only lived a short while longer, due to a brain tumor. We just never have long enough, so we have to treasure what we had. Tears for your little angel...
That was the most moving Star of the Day yet...you can tell how special she was just looking in her eyes. She looks so content and happy she knew she was loved and safe you really made her life a great one after her bad start. There is nothing harder than losing them and you see everyone around you moving on and you cant' for a while...it takes a long time to adjust to a loss of someone like this, I hope you are doing as well as you can and I really hope you will be able to smile at the memories more often than cry soon too.
I'm with DeeDee on this one! She looks so happy in the photos. What a wonderful commemorative for Mimi. Shine brightly little one...
