Yesterday woke up to snow, snow, snow....falling all day. I didn't even bother trying to attempt going outside with my crutches. John had to shovel all day for the woobies....they are so different. Schnitzel hates snow, rain, loud noises, etc. and Luther and Strudel went running out, burying their noses in it. Kleine was placed gently down on a pad of snow and started wiggling and hop-running, that spunky little girl. THEN came the bunny from under the deck....saw the girls/boy and went high-bunny-tailing back under the deck. But not before all of my brood started shrieking at the top of their lungs. Kleine was the first one there, would you believe! The bunny was bigger than she was. Thank goodness it made it back under the deck.
Broken ankle stories (I've got to laugh, folks, or else I'll lose it.....):
1. John sleeping on an inflated mattress next to the Big Bed with Luther and Strudel and hearing a big deflation noise in the middle of the night. (yes, it was the MATTRESS!)
2. Eileen's crutches stomping in Luther diarreah (after he ate some kitty throw up). Try getting THAT out of the bottom of those little grooves.
3. Eileen getting totally exhausted from getting dressed for work that she couldn't make it down the stairs to go to work.
4. Eileen developing Popeye muscles in her arms. Don't mess with a woman out of estrogen with metal objects under her arms.
5. John negotiating Eileen on crutches into a large pickup truck with a foot of snow.
6. John needing to go to the doctor because his wrists are dislocated from giving Eileen the "tush push" up the stairs. (I only weigh 125 pounds now.....how hard can it be to push that tush??)
7. Eileen's neck being dislocated from having a pouch hanging around it to hold objects otherwise held by hands.
8. Eileen accidentally kicking John in the head with the "big black boot" on.
9. Eileen hopping to the bathroom as quickly as possible on crutches after taking milk of magnesia (those painkillers kind of slow everything down......)
10. Eileen asking John to put together an outfit to wear and bring it downstairs and getting pink jeans, green sweater, navy blue socks with red cowgirls on them and a pair of HIS underwear.
Oh Gosh Eileen, can anything else go wrong? :doah: I am glad to here you guys are at least trying to be better!
Fall has arrivied in Maryland, but snow seems a ways off yet! Look at the beauty of the peaceful white and stay home and get better! Our thoughts are with you all and belly rubs to Kliene! Ya gotta laugh or you'd go  ! Best wishes and lots of 's  and :sunny:'s to you all! My babies would have gone under the deck after the bunny, or tried to if they couldn't fit!
Oh Eileen, I cannot believe you have snow already. I would never be able to leave the house, if I had walk through the snow using crutches.
I am so glad to hear that Kleine is progressing so well.
