Dis is Eddie. Wast night momma and I was sitting watching telebision and Cleo kitty was eating something called catnip and den she smacked me in da face, not once, but twice. Den she stretched out and tried to tickle me. I wouldn't have any of it and made sure she knew it.
Cleo kitty loves catnip more than any cat I've ever had, but hasn't had any in awhile. So when she got a treat of some yesterday Cleo went mildly crazy and kept bugging Eddie until he got fed up and ignored her - that's when she smacked him, twice. Needless to say no more kittynip for Miss Cleo.
LOL! Cracks me up! Mr Tucker is the only cat I know that catnip has NO affect on him...Crazy!! :dontknow:
Poor Eddie!!! He had to wonder what happened. :2funny:
:2funny:
I have to give my kitties catnip in their own room, separated from the dogs. The dogs go bonkers watching the cats and try to stop them from behaving weirdly, so it's easier to just separate them. I haven't done catnip in awhile either-maybe I'll treat them this weekend with it!
dis is Parker.....wasn't right at all. Don't drop your guard around them kitties. They can be nasty critters, not at all like us delightful perfect little doxies.
Poor Eddie! Too bad, Cleo-Kitty, that smacking your dachsie-brudder wiped your name off the catnip list for good!
My sister's Siamese cat, Ginger-Angel, seemed to be totally unaffected by catnip as well.
Poor Eddie! You weren't doing anything at all to deserve such treatment. I hope you got a special treat to make it up to you. (maybe a taste of kitty tail? lol)
When I was a kid we had a cat who loved catnip, but he was a 'mean drunk' so he didn't get it very often. He would stagger around and then jump on the counters (where he wasn't allowed) and start knocking off glasses or plates. When he'd get put off there he'd go to the top of the bookcases and knock off the pictures which was how so many ended up broken.
