takes the doggie biscuit! I dreamed I was out with my cousin (this part is very nebulous, because I don't even know if it was a boy or girl cousin), and we found this little dachshund piebald puppy wandering around out in a field by herself. She was convinced to come over and see us, because we had a rope of some kind. Once we coaxed her over, she played tug-of-war, and generally wore herself out. The next thing that happened, I was at the St. Louis, MO airport, waiting to be picked up by someone in my family - again very nebulous - and I have the puppy with me. She seems to be about 4 months old.
Now mind you, I've had science fiction dreams about a colony in quonset huts, who are devoted to protecting Earth's citizens from outer space invaders, and I have had dreams about falling, and having twins, etc., but I definitely have to say this was the best dream I ever had!

I had two odd dreams about Rudy (although I've had many since his passing). The first was that he came back from the Rainbow Bridge. Then I had to sit there and explain to everyone where he had been for the past few months, not to mention the confusion in his vet records.
In the second one, he came back again. I was in the garage and when I opened it, Max ran out. In the time it took me to chase down and catch Max, Rudy had to go back to the Bridge. That's odd because at his age, chasing down Max is not a very difficult proposition (except before breakfast when he runs around the house like a greased pig).
The more typical recurring dream is that I'm having a regular dream with Rudy around until at some point, I realize that Rudy is gone and that this is only a dream.

I had a dream about Harry once. It was one of my flying dreams. I was flying above the airstrip behind our cabin, only it wasn't an airstrip, it was railroad tracks. I saw Harry down there walking along the tracks. So I swooped down and picked him up and away we flew. His coat was very luxurious, very long and silky and shiny.
Another time I had a dream about Domingo. Dan and I were at Horse Drawn Carriage Company's ranch going on a hay ride. Jon offered to let me drive the team of horses and I accepted. When the ride was over, I said to Dan "lets go see the other horses in the barn." As we approached the barn, there was Domingo hitched to my favorite carriage! We were so happy to see him because we knew he had died but now he was back. We didn't even say anything like "we don't believe it" because we did believe he was back. It was so real.
