Yes, we now have 10! pedro joined us today from Massachusetts.
He is handicapped, but he never used a wheelchair cart. Well, I just happen to have Johanna's old cart, so I put him in it. He took to it immediately! He can now walk around with the rest of the gang!
The other dogs took to Pedro immediately. They have never done this before! Pedro is so laid back and happy. Within minutes he was playing with the gang like he had been here for years.
pedro is also epileptic. He takes a pill twice a day to prevent having seizures. Although I am very familiar with epilepsy in humans, I have never dealt with it in a dog before.
OK, enough with all of that, here are the photos!

Welcome to the family Pedro!
How great that you had a cart for Pedro. You've just given him a new sense of freedom and more than just a new home. He looks as if he has been there all along. Thanks for taking him in and loving him.

Pedro is a handsome fella!
Oh, he is beautiful!!!! I'm sure he is happy now that he is mobile. Welcome Pedro!!!
He is gorgeous. He looks young, how old is he? The doxie world needs a lot more people like you, this back problem in our breed is so rampant and so devastating, not enough people are willing to deal with it when it happens.
He is a handsome red boy. Love that last picture. Thanks for taking him in.

What a sweet boy! I'm so glad he took to the cart so well and even more glad that he found his forever home! Bless you.... Pedro gets a second chance!
What a handsome guy! Thank you for taking him in.
Oh Paul, you are just the best. Taking in another dog in itself is something extra, but to take in a physically challenge one make you, in my book, JUST THE BEST. Enjoy Pedro, dog #10, and I am glad to hear how well he is adjusting.

Congrats on No. 10. He is a real good looking doxie…
Reminds me of Ceaser

Congratulations Pedro on finding such a great family! Looks like you have adapted very quickly...and quite well! Enjoy the cart and your very special new family! You did good little guy! :thumb:
Congrats! :occasion16: Pedro and Paul. Wish Frank was more like you. :urock: He has a 10 dog limit, this includes ours, our daughters and fosters. When we have 10 we are done. If I adopt any more that takes my foster spots away.

Oh my! Pedro's head shots look IDENTICAL to Gretchen. Unfortunately she won't stand for a pic or I'd show you! He is very sweet looking and so very lucky to have found you. He looks like an old pro in that cart. I'm glad you had one for him to try out.
