Title: DD and April, how are things going with your babies?

I was wondering how you are doing.

Cajsa still has a cloudy patch on her eye, but I've not been able to get her back to the vet for another recheck.  I'm hoping to be able to do it next week.  It is much better looking than it was so that is good.  I'm almost out of the eye ointment too and I'm not sure if she'll need more or if I'll need to use something else instead.  One of the things I need to talk to Dr. P about.  For what it's worth she doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all, so that's a good thing.  Especially considering it's her own immune system doing it to her so even when it goes away this time it could come back whenever.

Sounds like Cajsa is a good patient.
How is the pregnancy going?

I already answered this once, but here it goes again.  (Elf was helping me and erased the entire thing by accident!)  I'm doing pretty well, I'm glad for the morning (noon and night) sickness as well as the other symptoms I've been having.  I'm taking them as a good sign.  The past week brought to light possible issues with the pregnancy, but so far they seem to have resolved themselves.  I'll be meeting with the doctor on Thursday morning to make sure of that and to develop a plan of action if needed.  So pregnancy is OK to the best of my knowledge.
I do have a second sinus infection since I found out I was pregnant though.  That's two in one month.  I'm prone to them, but golly gee that's a bit much even for me.  I think I"ll ask about that on Thursday too since I really don't want to do anything to endanger Baby F.

You sure have a lot on your plate April. I am glad Cajsa is tolerating her treatment ok. That is just so strange about her poor little eye. Glad you and baby F are holding your own too...hang in there!

Still no word on Hallie's results. I couldn't be more stressed if I were paid to. I called them today and told them to call my cel phone if it was after 3 since I had to take Hallie in for her allergy shot but no one called so they obviously didn't get the results yet. This has been the most horrible year and this is the scariest part of all I am very tired of all these scares and waiting and about ready to give the frick up. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get word and hopefully it will be good!

I'm sure you are doing everything you can to take good care of yourself and unborn kidlette.  Try not to stress too much.  When are you due?

Poor Casja and her eye.  That would be awful to have to deal with.  I'm glad everything seems to be going well with your pregnancy and Baby F.  I get sinus infections all the time too, so I know how painful those are.  I hope you get to feeling better quickly.

Dee Dee,
I was hoping you would hear the results today, myself.  I have been thinking about you and Hallie since you first posted about her getting the spot removed.   I hope you get those results soon!!       Also, how is your health doing right now??

Dee, I totally hear you!  2008 has been the pits for a lot of people, and I will bid it goodbye with lots of champagne this New Years Eve.  Stress is a normal state for me right now, as I await everyone's decision on what path my life will take.  I'm about ready to give the f*** up too.  Dan, Willy and Alex are my saviours, tho.  AND......get this....my physical therapist is working me towards being able to brush Neeki for about 10 minutes a day.  She is applying practical stuff to my exercises.....like splitting wood with the log splitter, no more than 5 pounds per log and just for 10 minutes, and brushing Neeki!  This has been a rough year, thats for sure.

I hope too we hear some good news tomorrow. This waiting is excrutiating. I have another Drs app't tomorrow, I had actually been doing the best I have in months just before this with Hallie now I'm back at square one. So frustrating. :thinik:

I'd love to make a toast to good riddance to 2008 on New Years Eve Patty but I have my doubts things will end with the new year! Maybe we'll all get lucky though!

DD, Have you heard about Hallie today?  I was hoping you would hear something yesterday.  I know it's stressful but you really need to relax a little or you'll end up making yourself sick again too!  (It sounds like you're having some issues again -so chill out a little!)  Worrying won't help anyone and if you're down that won't be good for you or Hallie.  So take care of yourself as well as you take care of Hallie!  That's an order from Cajsa and Gretchen!

Last year was the bad one for me.  I was ready for 2007 to get away as far as possible.  This year has been stressful for me, but nearly as bad as last year.  I really hope things start looking up for everyone though!  Maybe end the year with a good holiday season?
