Here I am with my sissy, Maddie
I'll be back later another day with more pics of me and sissy Maddie, okay?
Bonnie Girl, you are just adorable!!!!!!!! How could anyone not love that face??? Hugs, belly rubs & smoochies to you & Miss Maddie....
How adorable are they together! They look made for each other. Im so happy for you guys Sandy and even more happy for Miss Bonnie. Wonderful!
She is a doll, Sandi. Are the two girls getting along better now?
While I still think Bonnie is an alpha dog, she's not a super stubborn one and will take firm direction. I've been doing a lot of cuddling with Maddie today and then putting her down while ordering Bonnie into a SIT. She seems to do well with that. There have been no instances today and I do think as she gets more comfortable here, lip curls will become less and less. Of course, Bonnie got her share of snuggles too.
Thankfully, Bonnie was not in the rescue system for too long. She was really only with Stacey (whom she ADORES) for 3-4 days. This little girl was loved once, but maybe with not a lot of privileges. She trembles at new things (like sitting on the couch) but will, I'm sure, blossom further as the days go by. Only one growl in the bed this morning and all I had to do is touch her firmly on the neck and say "NO!"
It's soooo fun to buy toys that get USED! I was looking for a small tennis ball and found one at the dollar store today. She LOVES it!
Mark is sick with some kind of creepin' crud, so I was in the computer room. I walked into the living room and there was MY dog bonding (snoozing) next to her papa.
Bonnie, you are just so SWEET! I'm so happy that you have a new forever home! Maddie will show you the ropes! Smooches to you pretty girl....
:thumb: Wonderful!!!

We love your pictures, Lady Bonnie. You are an adorable Black & Tan. We are so happy that you have found a loving forever home.

Sandi, she's simply a gorgeous girl. Maybe she was just nursing Mark, though - you know dachsies make good nurses, 'cause they can stand the l-o-n-g hours!
No wonder she captured your hearts!!! What a face!!! I don't know why I was thinking she was red. I guess because I knew Maddie was B/T and that automatically made Bonnie red. Well...it made sense to ME. She's absolutley adorable.
It sounds like she's settling right in. Good for you guys!
What a super cutie!! So happy she has found her forever home!!
Bonnie is a cutie I too thought she was a red to for some reason. Yes its great to have one that actually plays with the toys.
