We went to my cousins farm today for a Halloween Party for the kids. They had an elaborate set up, Hallie had a ball and I got to sneak in a bunch of horse pictures too (for painting).
We can still use some rays for her, I am off the charts worried about that d*** spot they took off of her I can hardly stand it. Supposed to hear Tuesday or so.

She got blow dried by horsie noses.

Hello, and happy Halloween, Hallie! I just had my kiddos do an art project with spiders wearing tennis shoes - we get to do so little art nowadays with NCLB! I did it as a follow-up to our science unit on insects, spiders, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals, and tied it in with reading skills since spiders can't really wear tennis shoes - realism vs. fantasy. I'll have to show them Hallie's pictures - several in my class have/had dachsies.
My favorite is the one with her and the skeleton -the one with her tongue sticking out. She's got a perky look in it. Of course, she's beeeeyoootiful in all the pics. The horse nose pics are very sweet. Can you imagine Ilsa doing that?!!! Answer - not witout a lot of yapping going on! I see she's wearing her Halliewiener collar!
What a stunning girlie, tell mum to take it easy. The coffin one loos like "you've gone one step to far mom, let me outta here"
Looks like a fun party.

Caption #1: Is this considered inter-species dating?
Caption #2: Have you ever thought about electrolysis for those pesky nose hairs?

Looks like you had a blast! Love the pics of Hallie! Wonderful, as always!
I just loved these pictures!!! Hallie is beautiful as ever   Great pictures with the horses....Hallie, you are one brave little girl :apls: :apls:
I one, it looks like she is about to lick the bony hand! I bet she thought the bones were treats for her! Great pictures of Miz HBB!
Hallie girl - what a brave one you are !!! Your weren't scared of any of that stuff !!!! Tell mommy to let us know as soon as she hears about the spot. Keeping good thoughts that it is nothing !
She loves stuff like this which makes me so happy because when I first got her she was afraid of big dogs and some other things. Now she trusts me and nothing much rattles her.
I just can't stand this waiting for the vet to call I am literally going to need a nuthouse soon. I called yesterday but nothing had come in yet I'm scared to death!
What a fun and delightful day! And, how brave, Miss Hallie! Up there by those huge horse noses and by all the scary stuff!
It looks like it was one of the memorable sun-drenched autumn days that are all too rare! I know someone who would have been trying to bark at the horses...someone related to you, Hallie!
There was a time when those 2 girls went wild together they would both chase my cats barking like mad when they first got here. So I imagine Sophie could get Hallie back in the mode of barking at the horses too!
I just called the vet and no results yet today so probably will be tomorrow at the earliest. I can't take another day of this geez! I am taking her in for her allergy shot now so I gave the other clinic my cel number just in case they do get the results they can still reach me today. :dontknow:
