Here is Retts ultrasound from earlier today. Her doctor is weaning her off the Breathine in the next few weeks and she said that Ben is about 6.6 lbs! Just a few more weeks and he will arrive!

Just think-the next time you see that little face, you'll be holding him in your arms!! I'm guessing you should have a grandson by Thanksgiving, for sure. That would be a nice thing to celebrate. Now is when the days are going to start going by slowly for you, and flying by for Retta. Will she be off bedrest now?

Your so right Teresa.... the days are dragging for me. I absolutely hate being this far from her. Keith and I are actually considering purchasing a really small home in upstate New York where she lives. We had planned to do this when we retired anyway... turning into snowbirds! :verdict: Summers up North and winters here in Florida. I simply cannot imagine not having more time with this child. If we do it now I could pop up there for long weekends and such.
Her doctor is allowing her a tiny bit more freedom....she can go up and down the stairs a few times a day or she can go for rides in the car. Once she is totally off the Breathine, if she is doing well she might be able to do a bit more. I suppose the thought is that the worst that can happen now is that she goes into labor.... and at this point , thank God, Ben would be just fine.
I'll keep you all informed! Oh and one more thing... He has my DADS nose! LOL!
