Sounds like a reaction to the vaccine. I would give her benadryl and keep a close eye on her. I would take her in if it gets worse!

may need more than Benadryl. I now get mine a antihistamine at the same time as the shot. Phone another vet.

Oh Gee...I hate to hear this.  I would probably take her into an Emergency Vet just to be safe.  I would worry all night that she could not breathe, even with giving the benedryl.  Good luck and let us know how she is doing,

well after calmimg myself down and getting my smart head on I snipped a little piece off a benadryl disolvable and placed it on her tongue, BINGO swelling went down almost immedialtly! she never did have any trouble breathing. I did sleep VERY light all night! little stink is perfectly fine now. I alerted Vet this am and we will more that likely do a antihistamine prior to vaccines now for Lulu. Thanks guys!!!

Zora has the same problem.  If she gets the vaccine, her snout and throat swell up.

Glad to hear LuLu is doing OK.  We give Ozzy benadryl just before his shot as well as he swelled up after his first shot.
