I'm trying hard to be patient, but I can hardly wait to hear about her trip and see the pictures. I'm also curious to find out how she is feeling. I'm thinking she should be back today or tomorrow at the latest.
DeeDee arrived home yesterday afternoon and Delia and Ron flew out this morning heading back to Texas. We received an email from her this morning. She said that they had a blast and she did send a us a picture of a Tiger that she took and it is absolutely stunning and SO awesome! She indicated that she had thousands of pictures to go through. She said that she got some great pics of the boys! We enjoyed their visit on the 21st of September and Delia and DeeDee called us this past Saturday night -- they spent the night in our area on their way home and headed out early yesterday morning! Thanks, we did have a great time. Teresa I'll send you some pics (and anyone else who wants to see). I actually felt better on the trip than I have since this stomach thing started mid July! I had a lot more energy and could eat! Still get queasy but not like the last several weeks. I saw the gastro Doc today and told him how much better I feel and he was stumped. He said how can you we haven't even done anything yet. He had done a bunch of blood tests before we left, for celiac and autoimmune etc and they all came back normal as did the ultrasound. He asked if I thought it all could be from the anxiety over my "little dog" and I said that is my question for you, do you think it could be and he said he figured it could. So that is the verdict right now. I just hope it continues to improve until it's all gone! I had even gained 3 lbs since I saw him the Thursday before we left! (yeay!) He called me "fatty" :thumb: What an ordeal this whole year has been I'll never take my or Hallie's health for granted again.
DeeDee, we are so happy to hear you are feeling better. The trip and the company of a dear friend was good medicine for you. We are still sending you some rays for continued improvement.

I've been thinking, Dee Dee, and I bet Delia wouldn't mind taking more trips if it would keep you feeling better. Or, there are probably others on here who would volunteer for intense Hallie training so they could accompany you. Anything to keep you well, sane, painting and around for Hallie.
I do think the stress probably paid a role in your being sick, even if it wasn't the whole reason, and once you were able to relax and break the cycle of it a little, your body had a chance to start getting better. Hopefully you will be able to stay on the road to recovery now.

You're more than welcome to come to my house for some doggie therapy with "The Young and Obnoxious" :wink: I can't quite recall where you live, but I remember thinking it wasn't too far. You can laugh at Doc's propensity to hoard rocks, take over some of the ball tossing duties for Winston, let Murphy steal your heart and laugh hysterically at the two girls chasing each other all over the yard. And I can cuddle with Hallie :heart:
