:headbang: Merlin the Magician here for WDD Sports. (That's World Dachshund Domination!)
Dr. Greg Louganis Leaky and I have been working on our diving. Yesterday, we found the one weak spot in the deck and, pushing aside the baluster, we both worked on perfecting our dives. I went first and Beau followed. The height of the platform we dove from was about 3 and 1/2 feet. Since we don't have any way to get back onto the deck, we had to wait until Auntie Karen came home and found us in the wrong yard. She was not amused, but she didn't know we we're going for the diving team. :wav:
Last night she let us out into the doggie yard and we both took another turn diving. Beau did a front 1 and 1/2 in the pike position, and I did my famous back 2 and 1/2 tuck dive. Beau's form was better so he was ahead in the scoring, even though my dive had a greater degree of difficulty. :bravo:
This morning, Auntie Karen decided to watch the competition. I went first and Beau followed. All of a sudden Auntie Karen yanked open her bedroom door and announced that the meet was cancelled!!! What was HER deal??
Anyway, Beau, er, Greg and I qualified for the Dox-Olympics and we can't wait to represent the "Faux" team in our quest for World Domination!!
We'll let you know as soon and the diving board is back in operation!!

Oh my! That is funny and so typical of the furbabies! I'm glad you stopped them and canceled the meet though. That's a pretty big dive for a dachie!

Ima glad youse guys didna gets hurt (how's dat Miss Ima Adorabelle). Dem high dives are weally ruff on a doxies back. Maybe's next time youse might wanna try it with water below to catch youse. I dunno, eyes guess youse gotta go when the time is wight. Keep on trucking.
