Title: Menopause, the Musical
Post by: Teresa on September 07, 2008, 08:31:13 AM
Has anyone else on here had a chance to see this? I took a friend to see it on Friday night for her birthday. It was wonderful. I have not laughed that hard in a long, long time. This group of 4 women have taken 25 songs from the 60's and 70's and have parodied them into songs about hot flashes, memory loss (brain collapse is what the song called it), mood swings, and all those trying things that go along with "the change". I plan to order the CD next week. All proceeds from the musical go to support ovarian cancer research and awareness.
If it ever comes to your area, it is definite worth taking a friend, or several and going. The website is www.menopausethemusical.com and it lists the areas where it will be playing.

My friend had been once before and was kind enough to let me know we needed to visit the restroom before the show started. There is no intermission and you laugh way too much! Now that piece of advice has been passed onto you! You will have a blast!!
