Did Berman settle down?? Did Minnie get settled in???? Enquiring minds want to know????
Sorry - we've had a very busy weekend and since I took off work Friday to keep the peace at home, I was swamped today! Berman and Lucy (aka Minnie) are getting along great! He's snapped at her a few times when she got a little too close to his favorite toy and when we gave them treats without separating them, but other than that, he's certainly come around!
Lucy is just the cutest and sweetest thing- and FAST! Yesterday, I opened the front door to bring in groceries and she went darting out just as a car was coming down the road and 3 kids on bikes were driving by! I chased her and ended up diving and tacklingi her! She didn't get hurt, but I got big grass burns on both legs! We'll be enrolling both kids in Manners class soon!
JoBeth and Kathryn with DRNA have been great. They both have sent me information to help ease the tension between Lucy and Berman and to also help with Lucy's submissive urination issue.
I think we're going to be a pretty happy little family. I only wish Annie was still here to enjoy watching these 2 crazy kids running and playing and also to give Lucy some of her elderly wisdom.
Thats good to hear. Oliver had the chance to spend one year with angus which I think helped rub of the rough spots. Annie is still watching, probable aiding and abetting.
Its fun to watch the youngies rough and tumble. If they end up like my pair they end up doing everything in unison. We cal them fran and Anna or Lone ranger and tonto.
I feel sure your Annie Angel is watching over these kids......and channeling her wisdom to them !
