This morning .... on the TODAY show ...... a Red Smooth named George ..... looking for a home in NYC ! He might have been a hurricane rescue ... I'm not sure.

My first doxie (I got him when I was about 4 1/2) was a red, smooth, standard named George. He was the beginning of my love affair with dachshunds. He was my best friend when I was growing up. I still miss him.
