I don't really like de chopping de toes, or de ear cleaning, but for my mama, I will hold still and let
her do it…. Den I gets a treat !!!
Where I Sleep at Night:
Ahhhhh….. What kind of question is dat ??? DE BIG BED, of course !
I start out on the other pillow from mama, covered with a blankie, den sometime during the night
I go and cuddle up on mama's left side under de covers, all snuggly !

Not really…but lately I have been helping Rudy bark at de birds !
What I do when my Hoomans are away:
Snooze, lay out on the hot concrete, snooze, wait for mama to come home, snooze
Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:
Brandy is a true rescue. She came from a puppy mill and had multi-litters in her first 4 yrs. Her
last litter almost killed her. She was turned into rescue and was adopted out to a woman who kept
her crated during the day and then wondered why she couldn't hold her poop until she took her
outside, so they returned her… ????? Brandy poops 5-6 times a day…and sometimes she doesn't
make it to the doggie door and does it in the kitchen and that is the only place she has ever done it.
Who cares? It is ceramic tile - easily cleaned up. Life is messy-clean it up!!! When I am picking it up
she is staring at me, I guess waiting for me to scold her. I never have - I just call her my love buggie!
Every day she crawls into my lap and turns and faces me and just stares. I talk to her and tell her
how much I love her and how happy I am that she is My Girl.
Here I am one Halloween night… after I painted my toes…. And got control of de tv remote !!!!

Story that I want to share about my Hoomans:
I dus love my mommy and my Rudy. I am so happy in my forever home with all the warm cuddly
blankies and treats. After about a year, I finally started asking mama for belly rubs….. Now in the
mornings before I go for my morning walk - mama will call me… "Brandy its time to get up" (I stay
snuggled in de covers until I hear that !!!) and I then start wagging my tail…. It is really thumping on
the bed - Mama laughs ! As soon as she whips those covers back, I flip over for my morning belly
rub, or 2, or 3 !!! Then I stretch and get up !!!!
How could you resist this?

Isn't that the saddest thing? Can you believe she was returned just because she pooped in the house? Their loss, my HUGE gain !!!
Funny, I went through the whole adoption process and about 2 days before she was coming, the foster mom told me about her pooping issues - said she couldn't figure out why she had to go so often....and was that a deal breaker for me? I told her of course not, I would work with her and it would be what it was. We have a doggie door, and for the most part Bran goes outside... just every so often it ends up in the kitchen.
Makes me very sad to think of what her life was the first 4 1/2 yrs......
Brandy says thank you to everyone for all the good wishes !!!! (She is hoping to get something special for din-din..... maybe CHICKEN !!!)
Brandy, I am so glad that God found a way to get you to your wonderful forever mom, Barb. Your earlier years were truly sad, and I am so glad you are well taken care of and loved now. Loved all your photos and outfits, you are so cute!
You are absolutely adorable Brandy! And such a lucky girl now. I hope you never think about those bad years in the beginning that you had, you didn't deserve one second of that. One of my favorites has always been when Rudy brought you the chewie. :heart: :heart: :heart: It may have taken a while but you did end up in the home you were meant for and as your Mom said, you are a true rescue!

Let me tell you, Brandy and Guinness are pees out of the same pod (or poo, LOL!!!)
He sometimes just has an urge and will squat right in front of me. I fuss a little but the truth is, it's not like he's a DOBERMAN or a SAINT BERNARD! He's a seven pound mini doxie and he's 95 in dog years - let's cut him some slack!
I knew when I adopted him he had, um, toileting issues, as we like to say, and it is a small price to pay for the love, companionhip and laughter he gives me every day!

I sould have known I wasn't the only one that doesn't worry too much about a little poo or pee here and there. That's why tile and vynil was invented!
