Sarge N Duggie portin' in......Mom says we're sending her to the "poor house"! Does anyone know where that is and why is she leavin' home? Just cause we both decided that our friendly Vet's office needed more income and we are helpin', she says that we are movin' toward the poor house......Just cause Duggie went in last week on two separate days and he spent lotsa money and I, Sarge, had to go in this morning, cuz my butt needed to be squeezed cuz it was hurtin'.....and I spent lotsa money......and we are both on medicine twice a day but I only have to be on for 10 days, Duggie is 14 days.....Now Mom likes to go shoppin' so why can't we???? Even though we really don't care to go where we were shoppin' this week and last week! But, the Dr. said I, Sarge, was the best patient they've ever had......I was a real trooper when the doctor was workin' on my hiney! I just hid my head under Mom's arm!
Dee here: The boys are wearing me out.....last week it was Duggie, this week it is Sarge. Sarge was having anal gland problems so in he went this morning......he goes back on the 4th for a follow up check. I think I'm going to go find a blankie and crawl under it.....the boys have got to stop the trips to the vet's office!
Here is a picture of the two of them, lounging/sleeping in their Dad's recliner......on a Sunday afternoon.....

Have a great week!
It'll let up. Vet visits always seem to come in clusters and, somehow, both puppers seem to end up needing to go at the same time. Rays heading your way.
When is rains....it pours!! Hope the boys (and you wallet) get to feeling better! :bandaid:
Awwwww boyz it is now time to be ALL beddeh !!!!!
Tell mommy to crawl on under that blankie with ya !!!
Feel better guys...
Oh man when it rains, it pours and lately you sure have been getting WET!!
Although no fun, at least these are all fixable things! I too think you should grab a blankie and crawl under with the boys.
I love Duggie's eye in this shot just slit open far enough to make sure that's a camera and not a tweat you are holding!
Oh Dee...they sure can hurt the purse from time to time, no doubt about that! I'm sure there is some sort of Murphy's law that says when one has a problem the rest will follow. Fortunately, as DeeDee said, these are all fixable issues. Enough is enough though guys! I guess that pictures like this one make it all worthwhile. The boys look so content lounging in daddy's recliner. We actually just bought one for Keith that is sort of a recliner and a half....it's called a snuggler. Just right for daddy and three puppers! I think the idea is for mommy and daddy to be able to snuggle.... yeah....not so much in my house! There's no room for mama now that they can stretch those long little bodies out! Even daddy only gets about a foot of space.
Hang in there Dee....hopefully this will be the last time you have to run to the vet for awhile! Smooches and belly rubs to the boys...and hugs to you my dear!
I bet you could get at least $35 for that recliner at a yard sale! :chairfall:
Auntie Karen :2funny:
OMG, I bet your vet loves you. Hope both the boys are feeling better. And, I hope you are feeling better too.

Hilarious. Reilly decided this weekend that supporting our own vet isn't quite enough-so we visited the 'mergency vet too :thumb:
This is her post Benedryl and steroid shot look from Saturday night.

Hey boyz, zats zactly what MY papa says. "The poor house, Madderoo. That's where we're gonna live." I have another vet appt next Saturday for sumptin (mom here....kennel cough shot, but don't tell her). Also, I want the vet (we're back to one we've seen before) to look at her itchies.
have you noticed its since your retirement, so you have something to do.
Do they let you share the blankie

If that's the case, Roberta, you might want to start saving up for when you retire in a few months!

Boy thats no joke. Between Simon and Lucy I spent over $4000 at the vet last fall.
This is so true. You boys take it easy on mom and dad now....they need a break....We are gonna join everybody in the poor house....between three dogs and five cats, there is always something going on here....and it's usually after regular vet hours :doah:

I don't know folks, there's not that much room in here, but you're welcome to join us. :bolt:
Please be sure to label your toothbrushes, and give all tweets to Merln when you check in! :headbang:
Me, what - oh, yeah, yeah, right, just hand the tweets over to me and I'll, um, find a nice safe place to eat, er, store them.
Girl puppers, report to me. We have some event planning to do, and we simply MUST make sure the boys know we're in charge! :bkiss:
