....Okay, I have been home since mid-February with this ruptured disk nightmare, and Willy and Alex have gotten used to having me home. After I was well enough after the surgery, I was going up to the family cabin WITH Willy and Alex in tow, because I was not going to leave my two buddies, who stuck by me, at home. Okay, now I am able to drive a little and can take myself to physical therapy and short trips to the store. So Willy and Alex have to stay home IN THEIR PEN! OMG....you'd think I had condemned them to freezing temperatures outside or something. I actually had to tie one end of the pen to the door knob so they wouldn't pull it all over the place. They are starting to get tuned up again, though, last couple of times out their pen was intact where it was supposed to be when I got home. Their pen is two X-pens, 30 inches high, clipped together to make a 4'x8' area. Talk about separation anxiety. Holy cow! But they are getting better about me leaving without them for short periods of time. Oh, Alex can make the most mournful howl you ever heard, just breaks your heart. (he knows how to work me)
Psssst . . . :meme:
