"BURRRP!! O.K., Mom, I'm ready for my next one!" :thumb:
Make sure they only eat the corn not the cob a dog on animal planet ate a corn cob and the dumb owners did not know the dog had an obstruction the dog starved to death was a back yard dog with not much interaction with its owners. The owner was arrested for animal cruelty since they were feeding the dog they did not take it to a vet to see why it was not eating.

I can see how that can happen, this was for pictures only as she doesn't get anything but dogfood to eat. As I wanted to get it from her she had a death grip on the cob and didn't want to give it up!!! I even tried to trade a great treat for the cob but NO WAY she really wanted it but after trying for a bit I put her in the tub and started to give her a bath and she finally released it!!!!
Num, Num, Num, Num.... Yummy!
:fight: "O.K. now, Mom, you GAVE it to me."
"Whitney, it was just for the piccy. Give it back." :nono:
"Think again!" :nana:
"WHITNEY . . . WHITNEY . . . WHITNEY!!!!! RIGHT NOW!" :cussing:
OH YEAH? grrrrrrrrrrrr. . .! Oh, wait it's bath time? Hold it! No, you're cheatin'! I can't hold my mouf open in da waahtaaa . . glug, glug, . . . Fine, here's your cob! Indian giver!!" :soapbox:
"I love you Whitney."
"I love you too, Mom. Can I stay in da baf an' play???" :bath2:

Let me tell you, Master James Coover - SBJ, as he's known - has so many cute piccys on the board, I can't keep up!
Thanks for the compliment!
Auntie Karen
It was a great picture very cute I just posted about the corn on the cob because I just saw the Animal Planet show last week thought it would be a great way of letting everyone know about what I saw.Hope I did not offend anyone if I see or hear something about dogs I pass it along so others can tell others and we all can be more educated about our Fur Kids since they do not talk.I sometimes wish they could talk but other times glad they cannot talk like we do I'm sure they get to hear allot of secretes but when they are sick sure would be nice to know whats going on with them.

Cute picture !!! I have given mine cobs before and they DO have a deathgrip when it is time to take it away !!!
That is great info Papbouv, I hope you will always post that kind of thing. Even if most of us know it, there may be someone who doesn't and it's also a good refresher for those of us who do. I always appreciate your input on these things.
LOL Aunty Karen...I am not kidding! This is your calling. I think you should at least think about it! :thumb:

Last summer my vet operated on a rotweiler that had eaten (gulped) a corn cob. The owners brought him in 5 days after he had eaten it, he was going into toxic shock. My vet didn't think it was possible, but he saved the dog. The cob was lodged in his intestines. Yikes and holy sh*t!!!
How did the ancestors of these guys ever live in the wild??? :thinik:
Anytime a dog has any kind of obstruction it costs super big bucks for the surgery then sometimes the owners have waited too long and part of the intestines, stomach or any thing else in the digestive track has died not much of a chance to save them.Dobermans are not dogs they are goats they eat everything and anything even Buddy's 11 year old Grandfather ate part of his bed and died and his Mom Human Mom was devastated she is a vet tech she had no idea he had eaten it.There have been allot of young Dobermans that have died eating socks, stuffies ( stuffed toys) beds and anything else they can wolf down.
Nowdays you almost have to have Pet insurance the vet's cost as much as going to a human doctor.
