Went to have my haircut and colored this morning and after 4 hours and 3 salons it finally got done and I am tired beyond belief. The first shop was new in the area and I called yesterday to see if they could take me, the response was yes. So I went there and waited 15 minutes no one greeted me or asked if they could help me, they all either stole glances at me sitting in the reception area or ignored me completely. So off I went to salon 2, I've been there before and love the staff. So who do I get someone new, to the salon not hair cutting. I told her I wanted something short, but simple. After watching her cut my hair for 20 minutes she said she was done. IT WASN'T MUCH SHORTER AND IT WAS CHOPPED UP. I told her I hated it and didn't want her to touch it anymore, paid and left. Finally I went to the last salon, I've been there before, and explained my dilemma, mind you my hair was still wet from the second salon, but not colored. The stylist looked at the cut and assured me she could make it work. So after another hour or so in the chair I finally got the cut and a different color(cinnamon red) I wanted. Poor Eddie thought I had deserted him, but he was happy because he got mail - his package with the free Greenie arrived today.
Thanks for letting me rant.

Hey Marcia: Kelly in Illinois here: This past New Year's my family and I went to Florida for the New Year holiday and the person that normally cuts my hair here at home was filled up until after the first of the year and so I decided to go to Wal-Mart in Florida and to make a long story short after I was done my hair was worse than when I went in.A week after we got back I went back to the one that does it and she said she may have to cut it shorter than normal because it was such a mess.the owner of the shop where I go looked at me and asked what happened to me when I walked in.The one that cuts my hair and the owner made me promise not to let anyone else touch it. Before I forget Blusky&Manny send smooches and a belly rub to Eddie!
:meme: People in your life that you NEVER want to hear say, "OOPS!" - your brain surgeon, your hairdresser, and the M.D. doing your son's circumcision.
