Oh yeah....and I almost forgot.....we ate a bucket of chicken at "The Chimneys" (a creek with huge boulders and lotsa cold cold (did I say cold?) water. We also drove around the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. I have no idea how those settlers raised ten or so children in a one room house :verdict:
Here are a couple more pictures! I can't wait to go back. Hubby did a very nice job of taking care of the CATS and my puppies while I was gone. It broke my heart when he told me Zoe wouldn't even sleep with him. All she did was sit in the chair in the livingroom all day and night and look at the door waiting for momma to come home :crybaby2: Don't worry, all the babies got plenty of hugs and kisses when I got home; including the hubby :grin:
The last picture is of a bear in the woods. Can any of you see him????
