This is a hard for me to write as I am usually the one helping not asking for help but here goes.
Hoover my grandpup (Siggy biological brother) starting going wobbly about two weeks ago. We tried crate rest and meds but they were not helping. Since there was no improvement Jessicca took him to the surgeon in Tulsa. It was decide that he should have back surgery. This was performed on Monday and he's doing great although we haven't got to see him since he's two hours away:( But we can pick him up Thursday:) and he's already walking fine.
Now for the hard part, the cost of surgery is between $1600. and $2000. we don't know for sure yet. Jessicca is really struggling with this and any other time we could just help out and things would be fine but business has died and we haven't had anything in our shop for about 8 weeks. So our finances will not let us help her right now.
I can tell you if there is anything left it will be donated to DRNA and that anything you donate to Hoover's surgery is not tax deductable:( But if you can see it to spare some change anything would be greatly appreciated.
You can send checks Veterinary Associates 6925 S 69th East Ave Tulsa, OK 74133, and designate for Hoover Shumard but Somebody could forget to put what the check was for so we would like to make sure they get creditied. You can also mail them to Jessicca Shumard, P.O. BOX 128, Jasper MO 64755 or PAYPAL to buttercup64836@yahoo.com which is my account and I will send it down to the vet.
Or, you can call VA and tell them they want to put a certain amount on a credit card to be paid on Hoover's account. Just called the vet office and talked to Janie (she's the business manager).
