That sounds like us around here. We are now in "exceptional drought" stage. I don't think our area has ever been this dry. We are all praying for a couple of tropical depressions to come up through Florida this year. No damage to anyone, just lots of water. Last year there weren't any that came through our way which is a large part of the reason for our drought. Most of our summer rain comes from tropical storms, etc that move in from the Gulf.

Well, we'd gladly share our rain.  We got a horrible storm here Tuesday night with hail, winds in excess of 60mph gusts, and pouring rain.  Don't get me wrong we welcomed the rain, but we just didn't need that much all at once!  It poured for two hours!!    :doah: Of course all the irrigation ditches, and creeks overflowed and washed out a bunch of roads.

I'm glad everyone made it through the huricane okay.  My husband's cousin lives on South Padre island, and luckily, he missed the hurricane because he was on his vacation.  I'm sure he'll have lots of clean-up when he gets home.
