Clifford:  Here are my new wheels.  Can anyone come and work the pedals so we could go for a ride?

Dewd!  We have one of those!  Well, I have one and Stinky Baby Dog sits in it too.  Way fun. Make sure dad opens the window so you can bark at the poor dogs who have to walk!

WOW! Clifford I will come and chauffeur you around anytime. My boys will be green with envy since dad bought them a big white truck to pull the camper instead of a hot red car. I do have a 1967 Convertable Camero that I hope to have restored someday. My boys will probably be seniors by the time I get it done. Teach my to be married to a bodyman.

Ok, Clifford & Mike
We have to know if that's a Z!!!!!!
If so, we're green with envy!
I want a 350Z Roadster sooooo badddd!!!!
I had a 76 280Z years ago & loved it.

Sue, I feel for ya.  I'm married to a bodyman
myself.  Best advice, go buy yourself a new
convertible.  Nothing ever gets restored when
you're married to a bodyman!!!  ;-)

Nope, it's not a Z (and it's $10K less!!!).  It's a 2006 Eclipse.  When I picked it up from the dealer 3 weeks ago, there was 350ZX nose to nose with a 06 Eclipse.  The similarities were striking.  This is my 2nd Eclipse.  I really didn't like the 2005 version, but fell in love with the new one (Generation 4).  I had a 1991 (Generation 1) right after selling my used Porsche 924 to buy a keyboard (as in piano).  Then traded the Eclipse for a Minivan (after 155,000 miles).  I still have the Minivan, too, but it's starting to limp along.

No mid-life crisis here, that was several years ago.  Just like sports cars!!!!!!  And the color is not red.  It is Sunset Pearl and is more of a burnt orange metallic.

Is it a babe magnet???  LOL!

LOL, not a babe magnet so far.

I thought of you this morning on the commute to work.  There was a woman driving a Lemon Yellow Mustang (yeah, why tempt fate that way!!!) next to me for several miles.  It was a sharp car except for that color.

Yellow???  No, no, no.....a Mustang HAS to be RED.
I have seen your car color around here, and it is a really neat color.  Very rich looking.  Bet your car looks excellent after being waxed.  Enjoy!  I thought of getting an Eclipse before I found my Mustang.

I don't know about Mike, but I've been having a mid-life crisis!  My kids think I am crazy, I'm having a second childhood!  I bought a VW bug, lemon yellow, convertible and I ride around blasting the beach boys etc.!  Enjoy the car Mike and the second childhood.  The bug is a guy magnet and everybody loves it and talks to me while I'm at lights and stuff!  Thank God I'm single! :2funny:

I bought a little red sports car right after my divorce.  That was my midlife crisis.  I do love sports cars too and if I had an extra 35-40k laying around, I would have a Crossfire.   Sorry I got the color wrong.  Sometimes hard to tell with pictures on computers.  I am sure you and Cliffie look very handsome in your new car!

LOL!  That reminded me of Ellwood in "The Blues Brothers" when Jake asked where the Cadillac was, Ellwood told him that "I traded the Cadillac for a microphone"

What kind of keyboard did you get?  I still have my original Yamaha CP-10 that my parents bought for me when I was 14 (and a Fender Rhodes that I bought two years later).   Of course, I'm using a more modern Yamaha, the Motif-6, these days.

Great car!  Max says he'll come by and work the pedals.  Him and Rudy used to do that to get to the store.

In place of the Porsche, I got a Roland HP2700 with an MT100 sequencer.  I later upgraded that to an MT300 sequencer which uses standard floppy disks rather than mini disks.  This summer I bought a Yamaha DGX-203 Portable Grand to use in the rock band I started playing with.

Send Max on over, it'll be the canine version of Grumpy Old Men driving to town...

The Audi is almost a mirror.
The eclipse is very nice though.  Cliff looks super hot!
I absolutely love that color
which the Z roadster come in with a black top!!!!
Sorry I'm just a Z nut.
Hope my mid-life crisis comes soon, I want one!!!
