all okay--she hadn't woken up yet when dad called this afternoon but he was so tired and had to drive back to the hotel he probably fell asleep the minute he hit that bed.

Thanks everyone, Daddy said he would call me tonight. Dollars to donuts, as she is in the OR, he is down at the local Denny's eating a chicken fried steak with a side of all the things she won't let him eat. (Don't tell mom!)
Are you able to call the hospital and find out how the surgery went?
