Went walking out to the beach today...
Got up early and went out in the still of the morning,,, before the crowds. :thumb:
Miles of sandy shoreline and no a soul in sight! :grin:
Ceaser is having a blast chasing butterfly shadows and then wading in for a dip to cool off. :grin:
Millie is sporting her new hot weather haircut and enjoys watching Ceaser run and waits till he gets tired before she bowls him over in the sand.... :meme: just cause she can.. O that Millie!!! :rolleyes: :dontknow:
Ceaser pays her no heed. :idiot: with all these butterfly's and shadows and chasing going on he's one busy boy!! :headbang:

Its not easy for the little guy to follow "OL tarantula legs" Millie when one is wading....

What incredible pictures and a beautiful coastline. I would love to spend some time there with a camera. Lots of fun! The dogs look like they are having a blast. I'm glad you are feeling up to getting out again. The outdoors and sunshine will do wonders for you.

Very beautiful pictures bet the fur kids were tired when they got home do Dachshunds swim well ??? Wish there was something like that area around here do not know what my two would think about a beach and allot of water. When it rains they act like it is acid falling from the sky goofy dogs.

Beautiful pics!!! I just love that Caesar goes into the water on his own. And Millie is beautiful in her summer doo! Makes me want to go to the beach, our favorite place. How cool you got it all to yourself that time of day! Thanks for the smile, your kids look VERY happy!

That beach is 15 minutes from my door on the south side of Good Spirit Lake.
It has the nicest white sugar like sand dunes that can go 3o feet high, the dunes reach along the shoreline for 10 miles or so
On the back side of the dunes are the cross country ski trails where we go in the winter, I've posted on that before. :wink:.
It's handy. We love our little nook in the world. :heart:
Excellent Walleye and Pike fishing also. :wink: that is what we were out doing today. :thumb:

Ceaser is not the best fan of swimming, but he's liking it more everytime.. at the end of today he is very curious of the water....:scratch:
He kept watching Millie and wondering why she showed such great interest in looking into the waters depths... :thinik: :dontknow:
Today when we were out fishing we used bobbers... he would watch that bobber with great interest as we reeled in our lines.. :crazyeyes:
Then we we caught a pike....WOWSER!! :crazyeyes: :meme: :meme:Ceaser was squealing like a little rabbit!!! :2funny: :grin:

Now I got 2 fishwatching dogs....
We got our limits today of fresh fish, so now he knows all about it! He's sleeping now as is Millie... tired.. :grin: :comfort: :heart:

OMG! These are wonderful! What a beautiful spot you live in! Both pups look like they're in heaven! Ceasar keeps up with Millie pretty good. He looks so alert.
I loved these pictures just as much as the first ones. They make such a beautiful pair, and Millie seems to be a great teacher to Ceasar. He is a gorgeous (maybe I should say handsome) dachshund.
