Does anyone here use a flea preventive like Advantix? If so, which one do you use? I know some of them have the heartworm preventive with them. We haven't had to use anything for fleas before since the only time Schatzi and Molly were outside was when we were walking them. Now that they are going to be out more, we want to start them on one right away. They are both spending the day on Tuesday at Doggy Day Camp and being bathed and having nails trimmed, etc. It will be a great time to start them.
We use frontlinefleas and ticks, don't know if you get it over there. We have only started using it in a regular bases as they now up the bush and it is a known tick area.
I don't like the all in one things so it is wholey flea/tick no heartworm.

My two are on frontline plus and then they also take heartguard, so it is not the all in one either. This combination does work really well however.
Thanks! I was thinking about the Frontline Plus. I wanted to ask someone who had doxies and knew how they reacted to it.
Randy is going to pick it up on Monday sometime so we will be ready for the yard! Let's just hope the yard is ready for them! Right now we have a stray/lost kitten hanging around. She was in the neighborhood on Wednesday when we were there, because someone stopped and asked my brother is we were missing a cat with a blue color. Now she is at our house and seems to like it. Since the people who owned our house are moving out this weekend, they didn't have any cat food, so I asked my brother if he would take some over there (he just lives around the corner from us). At least she will be fed, and I'm going to try to get a couple of signs up tomorrow. She is a sweet kitty. Very loving and wanting to get inside, so obviously someone's pet.
