First one, Hallie found a new use for the reflector. It helps her with her tan.
Second pic shows what it is really supposed to be used for...I hold it up to bounce the sun and fill in the shadows (you can see the reflector reflecting in her eyes).
I will never NOT be extremely grateful to see her run like this (although I do make sure she takes it easy) after our recent scare...I didn't think we'd ever be able to do this again.
Last 2.

Those are lovely pictures of your little girl. I see she's enjoying the beautiful weather we're (finally!) having!
I'm taking my crew of four to the beach tomorrow for some water play, so that should be fun.
I swear she's smiling as she sits on the reflector taking in the sun.
It is good to see her so happy and running again :)
It's so great to see Hallie happy and full of life. No one knows how much these babies mean to us except each other. Love, love seeing her out and about with her usual Hallie zest for life, and as usual your pictures are absolutely the best!!!!

Those are such great pics! I love to see her smiling as she runs....
Thanks you guys! I spend all day every day being so grateful for her health now. She is doing so many things she hasn't in a long while, even before the major back flare up in Feb...I was thinking she is just getting older but I'll bet it has been a chronic mild disc thing all along as she is now acting like a puppy again (I am LOVING it!!). Only difference is now I have to be more careful and stop her from doing the crazy things but I've learned how to with distractions so she doesn't really realize she is being stopped. :thumb: One thing Mike said that struck me was he saw Clifford working on a ruptured disc for about 3 months before it happened, and being the first time didn't recognize the signs that time. I am much more aware now and if I see any "old lady" type of stuff I will immediately rest and confine her for at least a week or so before it goes further. I think that is why she is feeling so well now, she finally got a full 6 weeks of rest to really let things heal.
We are sure having a blast again every day with this kid is an adventure!
Just always be aware of the signs, as I know you are. I have crossed skydiving off my list of things to do before I die now that I have experienced a ruptured disc. I can't watch football anymore. Will tell the youngsters at work who snow-board and go kami-kazi snowmobiling that I am their future if they don't take care of themselves. Truth is......none of us is safe........it was just life, and getting older that did this to me. It was gearing up to happen and a sneeze could have pushed me over the edge. So.......be careful how you sneeze!
Hallie looks great, DD!!!
