I am asking you guys to pray for me, that all this paperwork and BS gets straightened out and approved, etc., etc., etc..........cause I am in so much pain that if the surgery doesn't happen soon, I don't know what I will do. The pain medication does next to nothing. Dan is doing his best, but he can't be on the phone with everyone all day pushing this thing through and I am too weak to handle it all. I am home alone all the time basically. Its tire change-over season up here and Dan is swamped at work, he gets one day off a week right now. My mom would have been up here helping us if my sister wasn't down at my parents' home in Yuma and getting treatments at the Yuma cancer center for her breast cancer. She just finished up and did fine with it, she goes home to Juneau this Friday. I wished I had asked my sister Mary to come up from Texas to help us out, but I had no idea that it would go on this long or that the whole process would take so long. I am at my wits end. I know that if you guys bombarded heaven with a couple of prayers for me, that things would start moving forward at a quicker pace. Thank you all!
Patty, I can't believe this has all gone this badly! I'm so sorry! I know it's hard for you to see right now, but you WILL come out the other side of this and it will all be a bad dream. Meanwhile, prayers coming from here to there. I wish I was closer. You sound so miserable.
I will definately be praying for you! I really hope and pray things get moving so you can be on your way to being pain free soon!! :comfort: Hang in there and keep us posted.
Sending the most earnest fix-it-up prayers that I know... I don't really want to stop and figure out how long this has gone on for you! (I know in my case, that 7 months is an awfully long time to me for what I am doing, and it isn't the physical kind of pain you are dealing with!)
Sending a ton of HHHHHHHHH's & PPPPPPPPPP's from WI that things will start moving faster and you will soon be feeling better!!!
If not we will have to send in the Doxie Warriors :rescue: :rescue: :rescue: :rescue: to get them moving or else !!!

It can only get bettter, eh? Can't get much worse. Love you, Take care. Insurance companies are the devil's accountants, I swear.
Hang in there Patty! We'll be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
We're praying for you too Patty. Hang in there.
In your case, Patty, you have tried all the alternatives. They can't tell you that you haven't tried other ways to get relief. Usually an insurance company wants you to try something conservative first, and believe me, you've been conservative. I don't think you'll have a huge problem, and if the doctor's office drags their feet on it, stay on them. Usually a neurosurgeon's office understands the pain situation and will try to act quickly. I'm sure it's even harder for you when you know that relief is in sight. Did they say how long it would take to get the surgery scheduled once they have insurance approval? I hope only a few days!

Can't get much worse.
Now,now, remember Eye-Gore (Igor) in the movie
Young Frankenstein: "Could be worse. Could be raining."
So started the monsoons!!
