The latest update is she was scheduled for surgery at noon today. I'm not sure how things are going since her mom has been unable to update us yet. Please send some extra rays that everything is going okay. The poor baby is going to be in lots of pain. I got permission for you to see her carepage. Here's the link....

Her surgery went okay. They ended up having to replace both screws and open up her skull more than they thought they would. She has much more swelling than she had last time and is in a lot of pain! She is also in the ICU this time. Last time, she went straight to a regular room. Please send mega pain killing rays her way.
She IS adorable. I pray she heals quickly and they are able to keep the pain under control. I would guess they would keep her pretty sedated at first. That would certainly be the best thing for her. I know it must be hard for her parents having a baby to worry about, too. Hopefully this will be the last surgery for awhile.
Thanks Teresa! It is really hard on her mom especially. Her mom is the most caring person I have ever met and it is killing her to see her little angel like this! Also, my friend Missy is trying to keep the house spotless, her two other children and her husband taken care of. Luckilly she has a great church that is helping her out with a lot! :apls:
Also, Brionna's big sister (who's five) is taking it really hard. She doesn't understand why her sister is getting all this attention or why she is so sick. I have been sending her care packages so she doesn't feel so left out. I've been trying to send her a letter once a week to make sure she gets cards and feels special just like Brionna. She is trying so hard to help out.

Brionna has been moved from ICU to a regular room. Her blood count is low, but other than that she is doing really well!

She's home!!! :apls: Brionna got sent home yesterday afternoon because she is recovering so quickly. The doctors figured it would be best for her to be at home in her own bed so she could rest better. I'm shocked at her speedy recovery. She's a tough little girl!
