Yestaday my mama made me mad!! :cussing: First of all, she wakes me up at 6 am!!! Den she doesn't eben gib me da breakfast before we get in da car and drive and drive. Finally we get to where we are going and she takes me out of da car, still in my crate. Not a good sign! :doah: As soon as she opens da door, I started to scream. I knew dat smell, da VET!!! :crazyeyes:
Den she hands me to some guy and just leaves. Um...Food?! Da guy puts me in dis scary cage fing and shuts da door. I start screaming my head off and den dey open da door and gib me a shot. Dat shot made me sleepy. Next fing I know, I'm waking up and they are putting this fing on my face. Dat fing made me sleep too. :scratch: Den I wake up and my mouf hurts and dey are gibing me some other medicine. :rolleyes: Still...NO FOOD!!!
Den finawy, hours and hours later my mama comes back to get me. I make a big show of it and cry real hard for her. Den we get in da car and go home. Still...NO FOOD!!! After we get home, mama just sits dere. I eben run to da bowl lots of times. :dontknow:
I finawy decided to sleep and when we got up FINALLY!!! Da food fairy visited. Here's a warning....da vet likes to starve you and gib you crazy medicine dat makes you sleep!!! :confused:
Porky Pie
Hey everyone, Porky had his first ever dental yesterday. He got so upset when I left him yesterday that he made himself vomit. :ambulance: The vet ended up having to sedate him just to calm him down so they could give him the anesthesia in an hour. Once he calmed down he slept and was fine. Then when it was all over he opened his eyes, but didn't really want to wake up. So, they immediately called me and asked for permission to give him some medcine to help wake him up a little more. Of course I was freaking out about that, but then I had to wait until 7 pm for him to come home. They wanted to observe him for several hours before sending him home.
Other than being hungry and very dizzy, he was just fine. His teeth are sparkly white! I really hope we dont have to go again for a looong time. :xfinger: It was pretty stressfull for both of us.
Oooh. That would have scared some life out of me. I'm so glad Porkie-pie is feeling better AND has clean sparkling teeth (and probably fresher breath for you!).
Guinness knows how this feels: every time we went to the vet, he started growling at the FRONT DOOR! AND HE'D SNAP AT THE RECEPTIONIST!!
Now he's a star patient and they all love him!! Go figure! LOL!!

If you do not want to put Porky though it brush his teeth every day now that are nice and clean if you brush every day they will not get yucky. I brush Patches every day I still have problems doing the back teeth I have several different kinds of brushes plus vanilla dog tooth paste & chicken toothpaste so we change every other day on the tooth paste she likes the chicken one best.Wouldn't you know it something that taste like food.
