This morning I gave each of the furkids a bit of canned food as a treat and Eddie just didn't get enough. Cleo kitty has her dish on a chair in the living room so a certain dachsie doesn't get it, but my little intelligent guy found a way. Eddie stood up by the side of the chair, nudged the dish with his nose then grabbed it with his teeth to get it into the right position - SCORE. Never underestimate the power of a persistent dachsie.
That's one reason Guinness eats on top of my bed or one of the dog houses outside. And he's soooooooo slooooooww!!
I have to stand guard to make sure he gets his food. :icon_salut:

Woo Hoo - GO Eddie !!!! I hope mom gave Cleo a little nibble of the good stuff later......
They are determined kids, aren't they ???? Last night I had a Lunchables for my dinner (I know, not very healthy - but easy when I got home at 7:00 !!!) After giving the kids nibbles of the cheese during the meal, I then set the plastic container on the floor for them to lick the crumbs. Brandy got a few licks in (there really wasn't anything in it) and Rudy kept licking. It kept sliding away from him, so he put his paw on it to hold it, while trying to lick in all the different compartments. He then figured there HAD to be something to it - so he grabbed it and ran through the doggie door thinking he would rip it to shreds..... Mom got there and took it away.... he looked at me like I was crazy.... HA ! :meme:
LOL I can just picture it too!! Clever boy, Eddie!
Too funny with Rudy too, they are SUCH smart little dogs!!
Oh, Geez, they take things OUT the doggie-door, too?! The thought of them bring dead animals IN the door is bad enough. I really have to start thinking this through once we get moved and ours put in. With the door being bigger because of Molly, Schatzi will be able to take a lot of things out the door!

Welll... they do bring things in too...... like dead birds !!!! Rudy's was displayed in the hall..... Brandy's - on the big bed.... ick !!! Only happened once though !!! Rudy brings his stuffies outside when the kiddie gate is open to the pool and drops them into the pool.... then barks like a fool until I get it out and throw it..... Funny little boy
oliver says it pays to be persistant. ussss boyos have to stick together.
We witnessed Ollie working out how to get Amy's bone out of the play pen when she was incarcerated last year. He pulled the blanket, then found it was the wrong one, to then go to the other end and pull the other mat, we let him have it after all the touble he went to.
