all the rest is OK, they have started to clean up, and the paintershould be  through by the end of the week and the septic should be completed by the end of the week. Spoke to the electrician and requested stainless steel power points in the kitchen as I think it will look better than white, the tiles are edged in stainless to, the hole is for the cooktop.

We have found over the past few week-ends we cannot leave Amy at home for the second walk of the day, so I take her and she walks some and gets carried some, I'm still a bit paranoid of letting her walk for hours, Nick says she spits the dumby if left so I really have no choice.
Yesterday when we let it was pouring, first real rain in months, we had only just gone about 19 kilometers form mums and the passenger side wiper broke and it took us about 1o min in th erain to dientangle it from the car, fortunately no damage. So I ripped a bit of their blanjie and tied it around the wiper so it did not damage the windscreen. We go to Bairnsdale where we found a car shop thingy where we bought a new wiper. Here's the embarising moment, while working on getting the blessed thing on in pouring rain we realized that a couple were waiting outsie the fish and chip shop for ther lunch with their quiet dog, one of ours was in the drivers seat trying to ignore the other, something small black and tan in its crate. When we looked in to tell her to "please be QUIET" she was standing up so her chin just managing to see over the top howling at he other dog, we hurriedly got on our way. THEN Nick got stopped an hour later in a booze bus stop, as the policeman came up to the car Nick said do you want me out, as she is going to create merry hell, he said not to worry I think you'll be on you way real quick, and just before he waved us on he looked in the back which poured fuel on our little warrior, who again was on her feet. His only words were "she's a fiesty little thing, is'nt she" so I think he was glad to see the back of us.
And so ends our week-end.

Hi Roberta,

The house looks great!  Sorry that the tileman missed the pattern.  Does it look OK as is or will they have to re-do it?

The view from the window looks very nice.  I bet you are getting very anxious to be done and into the house!

Amy, I think you and Jude think a lot alike!

Very nice house, Roberta! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Amy...sometimes if you're nice to strangers, they give you food. Gretchen is learning this. When we take her out, she walks right up to people and looks up at them..."Feed me?" I like this much better than "I'll feed myself. Don't mind if I help myself to a chunk of your leg."

Roberta you better stop posting photos or you will have the whole board there visiting!!!  How can you stand the wait, everything looks AWESOME!!! I could never get any work done there I'd be standing staring out at that beautiful view all day long. I'll bet you can't wait to get in!

LOL great story about Amy....wee fiesty one indeed! You must feel pretty safe with her and her brother about LOL.

Delia your last line cracked me up!!! Gretchie really has gotten so good though, having strangers feed her is a great idea.
