It is at least 95 degrees here today, so I dug the peanut butter Frosty Paws out of the freezer for the sheltie, shih-tsu, and our two dachsies. Lassie (sheltie) got hers first, but Mocha stole it and took off around the corner of the house with it. Lassie got her own and began to lick. Brekke got hers and began enjoying it. Chesi (shih-tsu) wouldn't come outside at first. Lassie finishes hers and Mocha comes trotting back with no cup. Brekke is still licking hers, so I got up to look for Mocha's cup - no sign the first two trips around the back yard. Lassie is done and chewing on her cup and Brekke is still licking away. Chesi finally comes outside to get hers. Brekke has peanut butter danglies on her nose. The third time around the back yard, I finally see the edge of Mocha's cup - she buried it next to a fence post at a 90 degree angle, so all that showed was a tiny rim! We made her eat it with some of the dirt still on it. Chesi stopped eating hers, so Lassie scored a bit more!
Thanks for the warning!! I guess Mocha wanted to make sure no one found her cup while she went to see if she could score anymore! I'm glad it hasn't hit 95 degrees here yet. I'm sure it isn't far away and then it will be awhile before it leaves us. I'll enjoy what we have for now-70-80 with low humidity.
Hysterical!! :2funny:
Mocha probably thought "hey mom thats not dirt, its sprinkles!"
