This is Cookie's first spring in her own yard (and mine too!). Apparently the gardens that are coming up this spring are not only pretty, but tasty too. :2funny:
Her favorite new snack appears to be all the dandelions I was pulling up out of the yard. :rolleyes: I don't know if they will upset her tummy or not, so I tried to get them all out of her mouth.
She also loves some of the flowers too!

LOL!! Penny is a lawn mower too! When she does to my parents she always eats the weeds and long grass...unfortunately I have to suffer the repercussions of this and pick up her huge grass poos that come out! :eeew:
Guinness eats all kinds of vegetables! :thumb: He especially loves grapes, which are bad for dogs. He stares at me when I eat them, giving me a combination of the predator's stare and Da L@@K. It's so unnerving! :crazyeyes:

well as far as Dandelion greens go, Martha Stewart was just saying they make for a good salad on her show the other day so they should be harmless for cookie =) She certainly dose look like she is enjoying her new space!!!
Cookie looks like she is really having fun in her new yard :headbang: Dandelions should be okay for her to eat (my rabbit loves them and clover). Not sure about the Clematis....mine don't bother that; they just eat the tall grass and then either :puke: or have those "grass poohs" just like Penny. I love Clematis and have several.....I really don't know if that would hurt Cookie or not, but I am glad mine don't eat them because they are sooooo pretty, especially the one I have that blooms in the Fall.

My grandmother used to boil dandelion greens and mix in a chopped hard boiled egg and some crumbled crisp bacon. She then mixed in a little EVOO and some good vinegar. Delicious!

Only bad thing... I think all this "roughage" is causing her to get up at 3am to poop. :rolleyes: Mama doesn't like getting up at 3am. LOL
