Title: A Poem for Jude
Post by: Barb on April 14, 2008, 12:13:50 PM
Jude's Story

There was a girl named Jude who needed a home,
She was hungry and dirty and didn’t want to roam.

Her guardian angel Janet jumped right in,
And fought for that girl, and knew she would win.

Across the country were 2 lonely girls,
Patches and Dottie  wanted to play, but not with squirrels !

They desperately wanted a sissie to mother,
And lo and behold….so did THEIR mother!

So once upon a time, there were 3 women with a plan,
One to send the girl, on a plane,  not in a van!
One to welcome her with arms open wide,
And one to deliver her, Jude never leaving her side.

This angel is here,
to represent the act,
of selflessness and caring
that’s a fact,.

Each woman is one,
and will share the bond,
Of knowing her part,
In getting Jude home.

You forgot to add "kleenex alert" to the title of your post.  What a beautiful poem.  I am so glad Jude is going to a good home.

That is so sweet!  I may have to frame it and hang it with Jude's picture on our pupper picture wall!

Soon....soon...little one!
