I dropped Jude off this morning with Sherri. They will be flying out of DFW this afternoon to Pennsylvania. Jude was a little shaky with the whole idea. Sherri is a vet tech, so I believe all will be well.

Awwww sweet baby girl.... she is just so adorable - Dianne will fall in love the instant she sees her !!!!
Bless you for being her guardian angel and for Sherri who is delivering her.......
Can't wait to hear how it all goes when she gets there !!!
Jude will be in the cabin with Sherri - right?
Yeah for Jude!! :hello2:
Yes, she is flying in the cabin.
With a face that, I don't know how you could let her go. Guess that's why I couldn't do rescue.
I have 4 (foster failures). Bill, Ted, and Joey are dachshunds. Gus is a pit bull mix.
The only reason I can let go is that I know there is another (many others) in need. If I had kept the last one, I couldn't have helped Jude. If I keep Jude the next one may perish. It is not as hard to let go, if you can keep it in that sort of perspective.

Godspeed Jude!
Fantastic. Thanks so much for the visual, we are anxious to see them! This is such a great story...if Jude only knew how lucky she is and how happy she will be not long from now.
Best wishes to Jude in her new home! When will she get to her new home?
:angel4: god speed wee angel and your keeper. We will all have the pleasure of her company for years to come.

How wonderful that Jude has had people like you in her little life. I have a feeling that the REST of her life is going to be the BEST! Let us know how she is doing.
I heard from Sherri at about 3:00. They were hanging out in the Atlanta airport for a layover. Apparently Jude is doing well, she likes her doggy carrier and feels comfortable in it. From there it is on to Pittsburg, and then on to Dianne.

Hi All,
Thank you Janet for the updates. I am glad to hear Jude is handling the trip so well.
I leave Tucson for Philadelphia on the red eye in just a couple of hours and this will be my last communication until I get home. (I tried to change my flights to get home earlier today; but, with all the flight cancellations every flight is full!) Jude will be in PA this evening and will spend the night with Sherri's family. Jude will be coming to my house either on Tuesday or Wednesday depending upon when my flights get in. The trip to PA to pick her up is approximately 5 hours each way. If my flight is delayed anywhere...it will be Wednesday.
I am so excited.
Dianne
