Dis is Brandy and my footsie is doing much better !!!
Here is me with my foot all wrapped up and the funky soft cone Dr. C gab us and mom put on me....I didn't bother my foot much, so she didn't leave it on - I couldn't walk anyway - I kept stepping on it !!!! She got one of those hard plastic cones too in case I needed it - but I didn't !! :thumb:

We are happy to hear that you are feeling and doing so much better! Sargey says dat yer back foot all wrapped up looks likes his front paw a few years ago cuz he got wild in the backyard chasin a rascally wabbit and tore one of his toe nails out! Mom apologizes for not sending rays sooner but she hasn't been in town much the last two weeks -- she's only been in town a few days cuz she's been on business trips and overnighters to boot! But she says that these trips should be the very last ones..........she says she will have lots and lots of time everyday to spend with us startin on July 1......well, after Cassie's wedding which is July 5.....cuz she is retirin' on June 30!

Oh man Barb...I can't believe that I missed what was going on with sweet Brandy! What happened??????? Mega Rays heading over the Gulf to Brandy!
I had posted under Rays Needed last week - she had an abcess in her back foot. I didn't notice anything until last Monday when I was walking her and noticed that she was favoring her foot. When I got home to examine it, it was really swollen. I took her in to the vet and he said it was abcessed and he would have to lance it. He gave her a shot of penicillin and wanted it to get into her system really good before digging around on her foot. So I had to drop her off Tuesday morning and got her about 2 that afternoon. She was out of it Tuesday - it seemed like it took a long time for the anesthesia to get out of her system.
We went back Thursday afternoon and he took the bandage off and said that it was healing very nicely - so leave the bandage off. She did well this week end !

Oh poor baby girl! I missed this at the beginning...I am SO glad she is doing better. They always look so pathetic when bandaged and ecollared up like that. Rudy looks like "hey I didn't know it was Halloween again already!"
