OK, here's the latest scoop!
I spoke with Sherry (sp?) who is flying on Air Tran from DFW to Pittsburg on Monday. She is headed to Indiana, PA. I contacted Air Tran and the fare for Jude is $65.00 and NO health certificate is required! Since Jude has recently been vetted she is already current on her vaccinations and would have this paperwork for the adoption.
I am on my way home from Tucson on a USAIR red-eye through Las Vegas (I hate that flight) Monday night and will land in Philadelphia on Tuesday morning. Sherry said she could keep Jude overnight and she has been a vet tech and understands this type of situation and stress. She is also owned by 2 doxies.
Does anyone live between Indiana, PA and North East, MD that might be willing to drive part-way? Indiana is approximately 500 miles from me; but, it's a lot closer than Texas!
I will continue to work with Janet and Sherry because it looks like this is going to work...one way or another. I am holding my breath!!!

OMG! I am so excited for you! :xfinger:
How WONDERFUL!!!!!!!
:xfinger:
I just knew the right doxie was out there waiting for you and I'm convinced Jude is it. I mean how often is a special doxie looking for a home, right at the time that someone is flying from Texas to Pennsylvania, and Janet just happens to run into that person? Not only that, this person is experienced in traumatized doxies! I'm so glad this is the one. I hope someone will be able to help out. If not, like you said-it's a lot closer than Texas! I'm also thrilled that we will all get to keep up with Jude and her progress!
I am loving reading about this as it unfolds! Jude doesn't know how lucky she is and how many angels she has in her life right now. I cant' wait til you get her and we can hear about how she blossoms! You guys are all awesome. And I totally agree, this was meant to happen from the start! :thumb:
Woo Hoo!! This is so wonderful! Fingers and paws crossed in San Diego :hello2:
I haven't followed all the details of all this, all I know is that Jude had a very rough start and is about to get to a very loving, forever home, and I am really happy. I saw her photo, what a sweet girl!
I'm a bit teary reading this as Dee Dee says she is one lucky girlie with some angels watching over her.
