this is one for me, I had it quilted as its about 2.5 metres square or 98 inches square

WOW!  do you do the quilting part too or do you send it out?  My dad is aces at quilting.  Mom does the peiece work and thenhe just hums along for a few weeks and they make the most beautiful quilts together.

They are both so beautiful. I can't get over the piecework in the second one. I can't blame you for sending it out for quilting. I'm still trying to figure out how you find the time to do them.

Yes Leslie I usually do my own quilting, wish I had a Dad or husband that could. I bought a Janome 1600P a semi long arm that I use, it can do up to 2000 sttiches a min if it is going full out, but as you know quilting is failry slow, I usse that just for quilting.
Teresa the big One is called a double nine patch I was over the small 9 patches when I finnished I think there was a bout 135 of them, they guys enjoyed when I was trying to get the colours to be evenly distributed.

I can just imagine how many times you moved the colors around. Just when you think you have them all in the right place, you would find two of them too close together, right?
