AUTUMN IS HERE
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy first full day of Autumn. I read an article in a local paper that this was the hottest Summer in 2o years in MI. We had 20 full days of over 90 degree temps. Thankfully it is over and now on to the Caramel apples and candy corn.

My youngest son is 18 today and it is the warmest b-day for him we can remember!

It's on it's way. We had 86 in SE MI yesterday and today it's suppose to be 15 degrees cooler. So not to worry Autumn is a comin.
While you are anticipating a little cooler weather ............ we have (http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/snowing.gif) (http://www.millan.net) predicted for tonight. This usually would not bother me, but I have travel plans for the weekend and I am a big (http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/ups/DeNiro/bird.gif) when it comes to driving in the snow.
I don't think Mother Nature knows it's suppose to be Autum in Missouri either. :scratch: We are keeping our :xfinger: that she will figure it out soon. But we are really hoping for a mild winter since they said on the news yesterday our heating fuel will be 70% higher this winter. :BangHead:
We are still having 97-100 degree weather.... I am READY for fall !!!!! With Rita roaring through Texas it is supposed to drop our temp to upper 80's so that will be nice - but along with it...for us in the Dallas area - TONS of rain !

Its the same here in SC. The weatherman keeps teasing us with his forecast of cooler temps. Everytime he gives the 4 day outlook, the last two days will have temps that are about 5 degrees cooler. Never happens! We are still seeing the upper 80's with a heat index again of around 95-100 on some days. It wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't gotten tricked about 3 weeks ago when we had 10 days of temps in the low 80's with low humidity. Oh well, Fall will get here eventually, I'm sure. I'm just really getting impatient!
