Title: My little bell pepper
Post by: Dee Dee and Hallie on March 28, 2008, 03:31:05 PM
This is why it takes me 3 times longer than it should to take photos for clients. Hallie and I always end up playing.

Heh yes I think she'd only eat it if it were smothered in dog food.  :thumb:

Great pictures Dee Dee.  Love the one darker one with Hallie in the background with the red pepper.  Shows off her beautiful hair.

Roberta I too think any product with a doxie in it would sell a lot better.  :thumb:
It has been so cold and wet here, I have been putting Hallie's new coat on her everytime she goes out to potty. She seems to love it. My step Mother was here yesterday and I was showing her the coat, I put it on Hallie and I told her (step mother) ok now you have to tell her how beautiful she is...so she did and Hallie did her usual, tips her nose up, gets a little smile on her face and squints her eyes. So cute. SM thought that was really nice of you to send the coat too.

Thanks Darcel, Barb and Dee...I sure am loving seeing her feel so good again for a while there I really thought I'd never see that again.

Rich what I did was set her up with a large window to screen right. Then I covered it with a sheer curtain to cut back the highlights some. Underexposed for Hallie, and also a little for the pepper. Then I held up a gold reflector and aimed it to the right side of her face. You can see the window and the reflector reflections in Hallies screen right eye. The bluish highlights on her ear, etc are from the window and the warmer ones are from the gold reflector. This was without any artificial light so the shutter speed was really slow, (camera was on a tripod) and I didn't want the ISO too high so there wouldn't be noise, so I had to keep Hallie's attention so she'd stay still long enough for the shutter speed to go. (and yes I need 5 hands!). The backdrop is a black muslin.

Yeah, right, o.k., here's the deal - you take the museum quality photos :pic:

and I'll dispense the witty reparté and scintillating conversation.  :bravo:

Deal?  :thinik:

It is good to see her so much better, I'm wondering if I'll ever see her like she was before all this again but after that big scare I'm very happy to have her comfortable and happy again!!

LOL Karen...if you let me paint, take photos and worry myself sick over my dawg I'm very happy to give you the witty reparté and scintillating conversation! LOL!!  :2funny: You are definitely the master of that, I still say you could make a ton of money somehow with that... :thumb:
