Just wanted to check in on her and see how she was recovering. I hope everything went well with the surgery and she is home and being spoiled rotten!
Thanks for asking. Sadie came home this afternoon. She is a bit groggy but is doing well. They gave me three more pain pills to give her as needed. But she wanted to get down and run with Kramer when I got her home so I think she is ok. I immediately put her in her bed and she is quiet right now. They just told me to keep an eye on the incision and bring her back in if it starts opening back up. They didn't used sutures or staples. Just glued her shut. Sooooo, we will be on be quiet, bedrest for a few days and no rough housing for 2 weeks. Yeah right.....
Glad to hear all went well with Sadie the glue must be super strong that is what they used on Buddy impossible to keep a young male Doberman quite. Know what you mean about oh right on keeping them down what with cement blocks tied to them maybe. All we can do is the best we can with them.
Good Luck

No rough housing for two weeks? Obviously your Vet doesn't own a dachshund :2funny: So happy to hear Sadie's surgery went very well :headbang:  for a speedy recovery and maybe some eggies for breakfast today :thumb:
Great news - go Sadie !
I am so glad that is behind you, it's always awful waiting on spay day. Sounds like she came thru with flying colors though, that is great! She is such a pretty little girl, very pretty coloring.
